Rules: 22 team league entry limit     - New rules in Green

Team: With your budget of $30M, assemble your entry of five drivers and one team. Budget increases to $30.5M, $31M after races 6 and 12 and to the league average after race 18 (average will be determined only from teams worth $30M or more).

Trades: Up to five trades (one driver per trade) may be made throughout the season, one trade will be earned after races 3, 6, 10, 14, 18
New driver values will be released after race 3, 6, 10, 14, 18. You never have to trade, but if you do, your team must fall within budget fter the trade.

Super Trade ($2M substitution boost, Limit one per 12 races, for one race substitution only):  All teams will get TWO Super Trades (one for each 11 races, use or lose it). The first must be used between Race 2 and 11. The second must be used between race 12-22  These do not count against the Trade limit.
Super Trade budget buster ($2M substitution boost): Super Trades are a one race substitute, and regardless of team value and budget, may be used to substitute any driver for another (for one race only) for up to $2M over the driver/team value being subbed out (ie a $4.6M driver can be subbed by a $6.6M driver, a 0.5M team can be subbed for a $2.5M team).  Your team will reset to the original driver/team at the next race.  If a Super Trade is used while making other trades, the new team (using the permanent drivers/teams not the subbed drivers/teams) must remain within the budget at that time of trade. In other words, your new team value must remain within budget as if no Super Trade is used.

Unavailable Driver/Released* Driver:  If a driver cannot compete (for qualifying or the race), no trade will be necessary. Your team will continue to earn points for whoever is driving that car. If a car does not compete, you will automatically get his team-mate until his return. Note: if a car/driver takes the grid for pre-race, but does not start the race for whatever reason, that is still considered competing (e.g. if scored as DNS).  If the team is suspended or out, you may choose a driver of equal or less value to fill in until their return.
*- If a driver is released from a team (or a new driver is confirmed for their seat) and has not raced for two or more consecutuve races, the newly signed driver will take that spot on the trade sheet and teams rosters. If the driver races for another team within the two races, you will keep that driver.

Scoring (Race): All points for both qualifying and race are added to determine your final race score. Qualifying pts will also be used to determine a Pole Winner.

Scoring (Including Sprint Races):   When applicable, for sprint qualifying races, the same system  will be scored for the Sprint Race (includes Friday qualifying).  Sprint Race Results will be posted online awarding Championship points to the top 8 finishing teams (but with no fastest lap pts). Note: Any changes by F1 to the system will be changed in this rulebook as learned.

** Fastest pit stops is based on F1 results pages that list the full time in pit lane. Its not just the 2.9 seconds in the box. Its likely 22 or more seconds.

Season Standings: Your teams score will determine your order of finish amongst the other teams competing. The following championship points (same as F1 system) will be earned. Note: Any changes by F1 will also impact the below (e.g. If a race runs less than 50%, then points are adjusted per F1 rules).

Tie Breakers: Your best driver score will be compared against opponents best. If tied, move to second best, etc. Team pts will be last. If a tie still exists then best drivers race position (not pts) to be used. For Season Finish, each teams number of 1st place finishes, then 2nds and so on to be compared.

Prizes: All league entry fees are redistributed
    Each Race Win:  $5 each
    Season Finish:     1st - 5th (if 20 Teams), or 1-4th if under  20 Teams
