Rules:

Team: With your budget of $25M, assemble your team of four drivers and one team.

Scoring: All points for both qualifying and race are added to determine your final score. Qualifying pts will also be used to determine a Pole Winner.

Trades: Up to three trades may be made throughout the season, but not until after the 3rd race.

New driver values will be released after races 5 and 10. You never have to trade, but if you do, your team must fall within the $25M budget after the trade.

Unavailable Driver: If a driver is unavailable for any reason, no trade will be necessary. Your team will continue to earn points for whoever is driving that car. If a car is suspended, you will automattically get his team-mate until his return. If the team is suspended, you may choose a less valuable driver to fill in until their return.

Standings: Your teams= score will determine your order of finish amongst the other teams competing. The following championship points (same as F1 system) will be earned:

Final Race finish: 10, 6, 4, 3, 2, 1

Tie Breakers: Your best driver will be compared against opponents best. If tied, move to second best, etc. Team pts will be last. If a tie still exists then best drivers race position (not pts) to be used. For Season Finish, each team=s number of 1st place finishes, then 2nd=s and so on to be compared.

Prizes: Season champion will be credited with Free CART2001 entry.
